If you are planning to provide child care during the event there are several things to consider. You must make sure you have adequate facilities and people for the number of children you will be asked to care for. Many churches have requirements that the people allowed to care for children must meet such as required training and/or background investigations. Make sure the people you plan to use will be able to meet those requirements. You should decide what ages you are willing and prepared to care for and make sure the Advertising and Invitation Committees are aware of your decision. You may want to prepare procedures to insure each child is only released to the proper person and procedures to contact that person during the event if that becomes necessary.
