I have always loved singing. Many of my favorite songs to sing are the old hymns we used to sing in church when I was growing up. I especially love singing in harmony with a group. One advantage of singing with a group is that if someone sings a wrong note it is a little less obvious than when a soloist makes a mistake. If someone does notice they can all stand in a circle and point left. I have also discovered that through the magic of technology and a multi-track recording program I can be my own group. For the first track I record the accompaniment music and then separately record myself singing each voice part while listening to the previous tracks. For the final performance recording I combine the accompaniment track with the tenor, baritone, and bass parts. During the revival service I play the performance recording and sing the lead part live with it. You can check out the results. I have a recording with accompaniment and all four voice tracks available on the downloads page.
